I am always happy with John and the staff at Mavis Tire in Johnston, RI. John is friendly and accomodating, and he keeps me updated about the progress of my vehicle. I never mind waiting because the customer lounge is very clean and comforable, and I can get work done. I'm a loyal customer and I will remain so. That said, this part of my comment is directed at the District Manager and anyone above him. Why doesn't the Johnston, RI store have a huge sign in front? The store is located on Hartford Ave., which is a busy four-lane road that leads to a highway and it's invisible because it's set back and there's a tiny sign on the ground. I know where it is and I still drive past it. What idiot thought that was a good idea? Literally every business on that road has a huge sign that announces their location. Town Fair Tire is a block away on the same road and they have a huge sign. Even the little pizza place across the street has a huge sign. Hartford Ave. is so busy that the businesses get thousands of views each day. Not hundreds, thousands! What are you thinking? Are you in the business of attracting customers and making money or in the business of not attracting customers and not making money? Because customers have several options for tires on Hartford Ave. and most, if not all of them are driving past a store they can't see. Wake up and help the staff at the Johnston, RI store reach their full potential. And give John a raise. He's short-staffed, he works his ass off, and he deserves it. - Barrington, RI
