Mavis Tire Supply LLC d/b/a Mavis Discount Tire (Mavis or we or us) developed this Privacy Policy to provide you with information about our practices regarding the collection, use and disclosure of personal information through any website or mobile service that links to this Policy, or through other business functions of Mavis when this Privacy Policy is provided or referred to you (the Services). 

We encourage you to read this Privacy Statement before using the Services.  By using the Services, you consent to the practices we describe in this Privacy Policy.  If you do not agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy, you should not use our Services.

Personal Information We Collect

Cookies, Web Server Data And Other Technologies

Mavis and the third parties we work with use technologies such as web beacons or cookies on our websites to improve user experience on the Services.  We also may use these technologies to better understand usage of the Services and to determine which areas of the Services users prefer.  In some cases, to provide you better tailored programs and information, we may collect and consolidate your online information and match it with personally identifiable information collected from other third-party resources and programs.  We may work with third parties to help us with these activities.

In addition, cookies, web beacons, web server data and other technologies may be used to provide you information and ads that Mavis and the third parties we work with believe may be of interest to you.

-     Cookies:  Cookie are small data files that are sent from a website and stored on a user's web browser while the user is browsing a website.  Cookies serve many functions including but not limited to helping you login (e.g., remembering your user name if you register or login), remembering some of your customized user preferences, helping us better understand how people use the Services, collecting traffic data and to help us improve the Services.  With respect to collecting traffic data, we may use third parties to collect such data on our behalf.

The data captured through tracking technologies used by the Services may be shared with our third party advertising technology partners in order to provide you with targeted advertising that may appear on other websites you visit on the internet.  These partners use technology to match cookies on your computer with cookies placed on your computer by other websites you may visit or have visited.  These partners also may use cookies and other technologies (e.g., web beacons) to recognize you across the devices you use, such as a mobile phone or laptop.

-     Web Server Data and Other Technologies:  We, along with third parties, also may use other tracking technologies.  For example, we may use technologies called beacons (or pixels) that communicate information from your device to a server.  Beacons can be embedded in online content, videos and emails and can allow a server to read certain types of information from your device, know when you have viewed particular content or a particular email message, determine the time and date on which you viewed the web beacon and the IP address of your device.  We and third parties use web beacons for a variety of purposes, including to analyze the use of the Services and (in conjunction with cookies).

-     Do-Not-Track Signals.  Some web browsers may transmit do not track signals to the websites and other online services with which a user communicates.  There is no industry standard that governs what, if anything, websites should do when they receive these signals.  We currently do not take action in response to these signals.  If and when a standard is established and accepted, we may revisit our policy on responding to these signals.

We may provide links to other websites maintained by unaffiliated third parties for your convenience.  But that should not be taken as our endorsement or approval of those websites or their content.  We do not maintain those third-party websites and are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or quality of their content.  We make no representations or warranties whatsoever about any other website which you may choose to access through the Services.  You should review the terms and conditions related to the use of any third-party websites before using them.

Your Choices And Rights To Control Your Information

You may opt out of receiving future commercial email or text messages from us by following the opt-out instructions in emails or texts we send you, or by contacting us.  Please be aware that if you opt out of receiving commercial messages from us, it may take up to ten (10) business days for us to process your opt-out request, and you may receive commercial messages from us during that period.  Please note that if you opt out of future text messages, this opt-out list is separate from our email preferences and opt-out lists.

Even if you opt out of receiving promotional and marketing material, we may still correspond with you about your existing or past business relationships with us (e.g., any purchase of our products or use of our services, or responses to your requests for information either through the Services or other means).  We may also access and view your information in the course of maintaining and improving the Services.
