I have considered the Oswego location of Mavis Tire a place where I can get trusted advice about what my car needs, and what it doesn't. I have been told that I don't need something done yet and advised when it might be necessary, and that is not something that you get at many service businesses. After all, they are in business to provide customers with service. The fact that they would send me away and not have me purchase something I don't need yet instills a great sense of trust in this business, and the manager, Tom, who has served Mavis for many years, leads that charge. I worked with both Wayne and Tom yesterday and went in to have my preordered tires put on, and realized that the brakes on the rear of my car (which they told me last year were good for at least 6 months) needed to be replaced. It didn't occur to me to question this because of my faith in their expertise and advice over the years. It is wonderful to be able to trust the staff, Tom runs a great shop.
