Continental CrossContact LX tires for a 2005 Toyota Highlander received ratings of 10/10 Noise Level and 0/10 . I have noticed in very cold (0 F. or colder) weather 1 tire seems to retain a flat spot for about 2-3 miles. Then it will warm up and the slight thumping will stop. I say 1 tire because I believe the thumping would be worse if it were more than one. But this is not at all objectionable, funny really. I had intended to get these tires balanced at about 500 miles, but I haven't yet, they seem to be running quite smooth without balancing. I probably will though at some point. I am very happy with them and will no doubt get Continental tires for my wife's car when necessary. Regards.
