"We had these same ATR2 tires on our 18 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk. The Jeep was totaled at 110K miles and this 21 Equinox awd was a great deal. We often visit family in the Smokey Mountains and these tires were recommended for the awd by Mavis for poor road and driving conditions. As we had them on the Traihawk and were very pleased, we were interested in trying them on the Equinox instead of regular highway tires. On the Equinox these ATR2 tires have proved to give far superior traction and comfort of ride across the whole range of road and driving conditions, compared with the usual highway tires (and no the Equinox can't/won't do what the Trailhawk would off-road, but we are surprised just how capable it actually is with these tires)." - Davenport, FL

"The tires are performing as Firestone should. When properly installed and balanced. The installer failed here. After a couple of months the tires were showing signs of premature wear. The ride was rough and steering was like herding cats. None of my factory installed tire sensors are working. Meaning I have to check the tire pressure manually. The the caution light for this device remains on. If installed, three tires failed, too have weights installed and one tire had weights, but installed in the wrong location. I had to pay for this service along with verifying the alignment was ok, and it was. Had a 1000hrs appointment. The truck went in shortly after 1100hrs. 20-minutes to lift the truck approximately 12-inches and remove one tires. It was said that he was challenged with separating rim from tire. But I never saw him in the bay working on my truck. I missed my 1300hrs Dr. Appointment for the truck was still getting its tires installed. In the mean time I'm observing several vehicles in and out while I wait for mine. Recap, Firestone tires are great. I will never go back to that Mavis service location. Maybe even all of them. I will never recommend that Mavis location and have already twice. Having to repay for a service and having premature tire wear on my new tires does not sit well with me. Waiting for service when I had an appointment and watching others without an appointment come and go. The young lady that made the sale was awesome. I was ready to order tires for my car.
