"I am not able to provide an assessment of the new tires, because they are new. I can provide feedback on the service I received. When I set up the appt & ordered the tires. I Googled the local NTB shop and called the phone number provided. The gentleman that answered and scheduled the appt was very easy to deal with and well-spoken. He stated the tires had to be ordered, and so the appt to have the tires installed was 3 days later. When I arrived for my appt, I dropped my car off and was planning to return later in the day to pick up my car with the new tires on it. That was the plan that was made on the phone when I scheduled the appt and ordered the tires. It was getting later in the day, and close to closing time for the NTB. I had not recieved a phone call or any updated information, so I called the store. The staff member I spoke with stated the tires were not even there and it could be a couple days before they were delivered. I discussed with the staff member that someone should have informed me of that before I left after dropping off my car. When I scheduled the appt, it was my understanding that the tires would be installed that day. He stated his store did not actually order the tires or schedule the appt. He became very defensive, condenscending and argumentative toward me. He was certain that I did not speak with anyone at that store. He became angry with me and insisted that I called a national hotline to schedule and order tires. When I made the appt and ordered the tires, I googled my local NTB specifically and clicked the attached phone #. The staff member argued with me and essentially told me I was lying. He continued to be very defensive, condenscending and hateful. I suggested to him that he actually go through the tire ordering and appt scheduling process from the customer side, and he may determine that the process is not how he perceives it from the service side. He told me how the process should work from the customer side, but admitted he had not ever actually used the process as a customer. I asked to speak with a manager due to his rudeness. He stated he is the manager. I reinforced that I needed my car, and had anything been communicated about not having the tires, I would have rescheduled the appt when the tires could actually be installed. Most employed people don't drop a vehicle off for a minor job with the intent of leaving it sitting for days. I have a job I must report to in order to pay for the tires. The man I spoke with that evening was extremely rude and takes no responsibility for having "messed up". Had he been more apologetic and remorseful for the situation, I may be more understanding. The next morning, I called the store back and spoke with another person who was very apologetic and worked with me on a resolution. He was amazing and found a way to accomodate the fact that I needed my car and what happened was bad business. If it wasn't for this staff member, I would never do business with NTB again. I would also make sure that none of friends, family, acquaintances or anyobne else considered doing business there. I may consider returning only because of the staff member who completed the process with me." - MILLWOOD, NY
