I purchased these tires because they were less expensive than the Goodyear tires which I had been using, and they were recommended highly by Mavis. That said, I fully expected that the Firestone tires would be at least as good. However, I was extremely surprised by how good these tires were in all aspects of driving. I am a Mavis tire guy for life and I will consider Firestone tires for my 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit when it needs tires.

This is the second set of Firestone Firehawk Tires I have purchased for my '06 Corvette. The first set lasted for 45,000 miles; much better than the original Goodyear tires. I rated the tires superior for their dry road performance. The car is not driven in the rain or snow, that is why the wet performance is rated so low.

These are good tires, very quiet, super smooth ride, but I liked my Yokohama Avids better because the sidewalls were stiffer. On hard turns they can wobble to the side, so I wouldn't consider them sporty tires. Other than that, I would recommend them. Haven't driven them in winter, so no rating there.
