Took this car to Canada and encountered a 8" snow storm. this tire is great and would definitely buy it again.

Have not had the tires long enough to evaluate tire wear. Was in a truck stop parking lot that had only been roughly ploughed. HAD 4" to 8" of snow and slush. These tires got me through that parking lot easily. Have pirelli Scorpion all season tires for non winter driving. The pirelli tires have more road noise than these altimax tires. Have not been on ice yet.

I am very happy with these tires. My car holds the road very well for wet / dry / snowy road conditions and it handles excellently. They are quiet and produce very little vibration. I wouldn't even realize that I changed the tires except that the car handles so much better.
