"I know nearly nothing about tires, but I have driven nearly 1M miles over the last 22 years. I chose these tires because they kept coming up by name on the Subaru enthusiasts' forums and discussion boards. They are excellent, possibly the best tires I've ever had on a vehicle. Aggressive tread design, but very smooth on highways. Very stable in cornering, grippy in light ice. I haven't had the chance to drive them in snow but I expect them to perform adequately." - Nutley, NJ

Best all-weather tire I have ever used. Also, the MOST expensive set I have ever bought. I did not need snow tires. <br> Very excited to see how long they REALLY last.

The Michelin Cross Climate 2 is easily one of the best tires on the market. If it fits your vehicle, you should use them. They offer competitive performance with a dedicated winter tire while still having very good wet performance. This is impressive considering that these two characteristics are opposite of each other; by that I mean generally a tire that is good in the snow will perform poorly in wet conditions.

For an aggressive tread, this tire is very quiet. It also seems to have better traction in snow than the Michelin Defender. We have not had an opportunity to drive them on ice yet.

Replaced stock tires on my Acura MDX, a world of difference. Brings out the full handling and ride potential of the MDX. Encountered 8 inches of snow after purchasing these tires. Blown away by the traction of these tires, not so much as a slip on any wheel. Very impressed!
