"The DefenderXL's are big tires, but don't feel heavy on the road. They are smooth and quiet. The truck feels more stable than the OEM LT tires. From one trip, I seem to have gotten better mileage (+ 1 MPG) than the originals. Cornering is more solid. Very happy with these premium tires so far." - ,

So far so good. Wanted white letter or raised white letter, but apparently they are difficult to find in my size now. Not completely happy with all black tires considering it's had white letters for the 16 years I've had the truck, but they are so far in my liking as for performance.

My first set of Michelin Defender LTX MS/2s were some of the best tires I have ever owned. They provided excellent traction in all conditions. I ended up replacing my first set with over 40,000 miles due to a camber issue that wore the outside edge of my driver side tires.
