I choose this type of tire because of its rimm protection and sidewall structure. Its a very sturdy tire for the aftermarket wheels which are very wide. This particular Nankang fits perfectly under the fender well. It is a discontinued itemwhich I've been shopping for without success. I'm pleased that Mavis Tire had it in stock and was able to ship it very quickly.

Very good tires for normal everyday driving. Tested the tires aggressively at high speed and performed exceptionally well. Never had the chance to drive in snow and ice yet. Ride is a lot smoother than the Yokohama tires I replaced and noise level is about average for a high performance tire. Steering response is about equal to some of the known brands as well as cornering stability. Can't comment on treadwear as I only had it for a month. I would probably buy these tires again depending on how it will perform in snow and ice this coming winter. But overall, a pretty good value and above average performance for the price.
