I drove them through some packed snow streets and had almost no slippage. I've driven them through some moisture, but mostly dry roads. Nokian vastly improved from the WRG3s to the G4s as far as All Season radials. The part of the tread that helped in snow was improved/redesigned and expanded to be half of the total tread area. The G3s had about 1/3 and that part was not especially effective in snow of any depth, but had a road adhesive and responsive design that was superior. I don't notice tire noise on the road. I drive approximately 30k a year and nearly all of that is holiday or vacation driving. Trips of 900+ miles one way are common for me.

Wanted to wait to write a review until I drove in some snow. There are the best tires Ive had in the snow for a car. They are a bit noisy on dry pavement, but I'll take the trade off of superior wet and snow traction. Tread wear appears to be about above average. I will definitely buy these again, in fact I'm gonna buy a set for my wife's car.

Great 4-season tire. Softer sidewall than prior light truck tires; cornering not the same as a low profile, but still good; fantastic wet traction, haven't tried in snow/ice. Has the Severe Weather 3 mtn peak cert. The 265/70-16 is a little wider than other brands light truck tires; follow the rim width guidelines but use caution on the lowest rim width recommendation. A true 4-season tire, best I've had; much better in rain (and snow Im told) than any all-season; better road character than the off-road capable light truck tires. Definitely would buy again
