First off - Pirelli - the name sets a High standard for performance. (I have Cinturato's on my Subaru Outback - my second set, and that's the ONLY tire that I will put on the car! They have performed with excellence in ALL weather including heavy snow from the mountains of NC to Wisconsin at Christmas.) So, I figured that since Pirelli did so well on that tire, that I'd purchase the Scorpion All Terrain Plus, and give them a go. The second day we had them installed, my wife drove the 4Runner in the rain, she said that she was happy, stating that the former BFG Rugged Terrain tires, (that would slip and slide on wet pavement, and usually wouldn't provide any off pavement help either), were like driving on slicks compared to these A/T's. She initially started off with a heavy foot, where the former tires would spin, and the Pirelli's just dug in and provided traction. Then when she headed into an on ramp, and again with wet pavement, she kept adding throttle until she was getting nervous from the speed, and the

Only 500 or so miles of use. They ride rougher than the factory goodyears and are a little noisy, but they are an all terrain tire. Truck seems to have lost a little fuel mileage since I got these tires. If they last longer than the 30,000 miles I got from the goodyear tires I had, I will be satisfied.

These wheels are awesome. Love the hybrid nature of them. They look very good on a Tahoe. I get complements all the time. The size was a little larger than what I thought so there was some initial rubbing but I worked it out. Overall I would get Thea again every time. They handle great, very little extra roll when cornering. I haven’t yet tried them in ice or snow but I’m sure they will rock it. I’ve owned Pirelli tires bf and never had an issue. Always happy with them.
