We were visiting from New Jersey and while here in Blowing Rock I heard crunching and grinding of my brakes. That evening after 5pm I went on line and looked up a reliable and well known to repair shop, Mavis. I was able to schedule an appointment the very next morning at 9am close by in Lenore, NC. Upon my arrival I was greeted by the manager Clyde who was very professional. He and his mechanic checked my truck, that needed brakes as I believed. I was shown the wear on my trucks brakes and explained what I needed to be repaired with a price even before it was started. I was updated as the work progressed. I chose Mavis because of the reliable reputation back in New Jersey and I see that the professionalism extended to this location in North Carolina also. Thank you gentleman for the work on my truck, even working through your lunch time, I noticed. Thank you for knowing I am from New Jersey and a way off and going the extra mile in keeping my family, wife and daughter safe. You were professional and I am very pleased I chose Mavis.
