I drive about 75% highway, 25% local suburban roads. I considered simply replacing my stock Goodyear Eagle LS tires which I got excellent wear out of as well (80,000 miles) but opted for the Kumho as they had equivalent ratings but were more modestly priced. I am glad I did. So far they have performed equally as well as my old Eagles. Traction, cornering and overall handling have been better than I expected and I have not had to change my driving habits to accomodate the performance limits of the tires. Overall, I am glad I went with the Kumhos as it appears to be the same bang for less buck than the Goodyear Eagles.
